Everything you need
to get started.
Once you purchase the CTRL-Q Mentorship, your spot is locked in.
From there, we begin the process of building your session —
Below you will find everything you need to prepare — select your mentorship date, how to connect via Muse, and exactly how to deliver your files so we can hit the ground running from minute one.

STEP 01 - DECIDE YOUR DATE
Mentorship Date
Schedule Your CTRL-Q Mentorship
Please provide all the information below so we can start organizing your
CTRL-Q session.
Select your date
Choose the day that works best for you.
Select your time (ET)
9:00 AM · 10:00 AM · 11:00 AM · 12:00 PM · 13:00 PM
Session format:
You can complete your mentorship in a single day or split it across two days — your choice.
Every session includes a built-in break to reset and recharge. If we experience any technical issues during our mentorship, I will schedule another day to complete the session at no additional cost.
STEP 02 - YOUR CONNECTION PLATFORM
Connecting via Muse
CTRL-Q runs live on Muse — a professional remote collaboration platform built specifically for audio work. It gives us a real-time shared Pro Tools environment, so you are not just watching a screen share. You are inside the session with me, hearing every decision as it happens.
Computer Recommended
Download and install Muse on your computer for the full experience — best audio quality, full flexibility, and the ability to follow along directly inside Pro Tools.
Mobile
Available
Muse also works on your phone. Mobile works fine for following along, though a computer will always give you a richer and more immersive experience.
"I will send you your personal Muse link when the session is confirmed and scheduled. You do not need to create an account — just click, connect, and you are in."
STEP 03 - 3 TO 5 DAYS BEFORE THE MENTORSHIP
Delivering your Session Files
It's time to address your session. We will be working directly on your files — and the way you deliver them determines how much ground we can cover together. Follow these instructions carefully and send me your files between 3 to 5 days before our session. The earlier I have them, the more prepared I can be — and the better your results will be.
Unified sample rate
Make sure all your files share the same sample rate — 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, or whichever rate your session runs at.
Consolidate from zero
All files must be consolidated starting from 0:00 seconds to the very end of the session. This ensures that every track lines up perfectly when imported — no guesswork, no realignment, no lost time.
Include the BPM
Send me the exact BPM of your song — whether it is fixed or follows a tempo map. This is critical for any rhythm-based editing and time alignment work we do during the session.
Raw files are best
Send your raw, unprocessed recordings whenever possible. Raw files give us the most flexibility during editing — the CTRL-Q system is built to work after the next process of recording.
Effects tracks — separate
If you want to include effects tracks or processed versions, keep them completely separate from the raw tracks. Label them clearly.
Pack and send your files
Once everything is organized, compress all your files into a single ZIP folder and send it via WeTransfer or Google Drive.
SEND YOUR FILES TO
ctrlq.audio@gmail.com
via WeTransfer or Google Drive · 3 to 5 days before your session
"The more organized your files arrive, the more time we spend on the work that matters. Preparation is part of the process."
If you are sharing a project folder via Google Drive or Dropbox, please ensure the permissions are set to allow downloads. If any issues arise with your session files or materials, I will reach out via email immediately so we can clear things up and keep your project moving forward.
